Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves inserting thin, sterile needles into specific points on the body, to promote healing and balance. It is based on the belief that energy, or "Qi" (pronounced "chee"), flows through pathways in the body called meridians. When the flow of Qi is disrupted or unbalanced, it can lead to illness or discomfort. Acupuncture aims to restore the proper flow of Qi and thus promote health.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a device equipped with fine needles to create tiny punctures in the skin's surface. These micro-injuries stimulate the body's natural wound healing process, boosting collagen (Studies show an average of 206% increase, and 1,000% increase in collagen production) and elastin production, which are essential for skin rejuvenation. Microneedling benefit fine lines, wrinkles, acne, acne scarring, reducing pore size, hyper-pigmentation, and improving skin tone. Treatments are once a month.

Acupuncture with electrostimulation (e-stim) combines traditional acupuncture with a modern technique that involves the application of small electrical currents to acupuncture needles. The electrical currents are typically low-frequency and are delivered through the needles after they have been inserted into the skin at specific acupuncture points. Benefits include pain relief, improved circulation, muscle relaxation, tissue healing and treatment of nerve-related issues including Bell’s Palsy.

E-Stim

Often referred to as facial acupuncture. This is a natural treatment using any combination of acupuncture, gua sha and gentle facial cupping where the goal is to stimulate blood flow, promote collagen production, and encourage the body's healing processes, leading to improved skin tone and texture. Cosmetic acupuncture is most effective once weekly for 6-8 weeks, then as needed for maintenance.

Tui Na

(pronounced "twee-nah") Tui Na is a form of traditional Chinese medical massage that involves therapeutic techniques aimed at balancing the body’s energy (Qi), improving circulation, and promoting overall health. The name "Tuina" is derived from two Chinese words: "Tui" (推), meaning to push, and "Na" (拿), meaning to grasp. This reflects the core techniques used in the practice: pushing, kneading, rolling, and grasping the body’s muscles, tendons, and joints.
